The Future of Atlas Shrugged

Okay, part 3, the conclusion, is about to come out. It's time to think about and discuss where it goes from here.

Another Kickstarter campaign may well help with this, btw.

I believe that the movie trilogy should be gotten on to cable as soon as is practical; that is, not so soon as to harm theater and DVD profits.

With its release to cable tv, I would like to see an Atlas Shrugged tv series introduced. Animated, if necessary (that way changing actors won't be an issue j/k).
The series would be stories set in the Atlas Shrugged universe, taking place in the background. A basic theme I would suggest would be following people's paths to going Galt. Following the stories of other producers as the looters and moochers drive them into the ground. A common ending for an episode or a story arc would be a shadowy figure asking, "Are you ready, Mr/Ms ...?"

The series could itself have a story arc; the first episodes taking place early in the history of Atlas Shrugged, with later episodes taking place nearer and nearer the collapse. That way, tensions and drama could be increased as the series progresses.

I, myself, am working on a story that didn't start out to be Atlas Shrugged-themed, but turned out that way, entitled, "Roarke's Drift".

I like the idea. I especially like the animation part and the ability to do the back story on some of the minor/major characters. Wouldn't it be great to see Midas Mulligan funding a few startup or purchases, like to Hank Rearden, and then watching him turn down the moochers and the logical reasons for both.
