The rich are going on Strike in St. Tropez

Saint-Tropez, the glittering Riviera resort f is lamenting a decline in the number of yachts berthed at its marina.
Luxury yacht owners are increasing shunning the Côte d’Azur’s upscale resorts because of prohibitive costs. Many are choosing less expensive destinations in Italy or Spain, where berthing fees, fuel prices and crewing costs are lower. The high costs on the Riviera are blamed partly on France’s strict enforcement of EU regulations on the sales price of marine diesel and a new requirement for high French taxes and social contributions to paid for crew members which was introduced in March.

My favorite line of the article was..."the mayor of Toulon, issued a plea for help from President Emmanuel Macron on Wednesday." Yeh buddy...what is he going to do...chain the yachts to the harbor and make them pay?? He is the one who did this to you....probably with your help!

They should visit eastern US in the summer. When the fall comes head for Florida and island hop the Caribbean. Lots of variety even for the rich ;^)
Perhaps its time to leave the Peoples State of Europe.
