Instead of trying to get Michael Mann in prison simply eliminate all federally funded studies, schools, etc. If he wants to study climate change he will either need to fund it himself or find an individual willing to fund dishonest research. What is interesting is that the court doesn't even want to risk demanding that he supply the information. I am certain if I were on trail as an individual I would already be imprisoned.

He belongs behind bars all the more so for committing fraud with public funds.
Eyes should now turn to those PC government officials who handed him the public funds so he could further push their BS.

One mistake in the video...they said that Michael Mann's reputation was gone.....Not in the church of global warming! The fact that some court held him in contempt and fined him will actually enhance his reputation with the worshipers because of course the lackey government is covering for the evil capitalist industrialists!

I'm still waiting for the court to find him in contempt officially. I agree with the argument, of course. Mann should show his data. If he filed that lawsuit, he needs to show some evidence to back it up.

More to the point, Mann is really prosecuting a different lawsuit: Earth v. Humanity. The allegation: negligent "geocide." Even if he could find a court of competent jurisdiction--and even if we could not file to have the case dismissed for lack of subject-matter and personal jurisdiction--he still would have to show the data to prove the merits of his case!

Just under the date you mentioned for Weatherbell is the text showing the time period: 1981-2010 climatology (with 0.41C)
For ClimateRealizer the time period is on the left side just below the globe : CFSR 1979-2000 Baseline
The Weatherbell uses 10 years more recent data for the baseline.

I agree, Mann should have sealed his own fate if there is reason used.

In the video (time code about 8 min to 9 min) the narrator asks why one source shows the current temps at 0.4C higher than baseline while another source reports the current temps at 0.62C higher than the baseline.
Answer: The baseline periods are not the same period.
