James Delingpole in The Spectator UK, 17-June-2017
defines the difference between the two major political parties-

One offers:
‘Free cake for all, but responsibly administered,
with due regard for calorie and sugar content’

The other offers:
‘Free cake — as much as you like,
with cherries, hundreds and thousands
and flavours so delicious you’ll hardly
believe they could exist’

He says '.. not just in Britain' conservatives have gone along with the
'globalist, communitarian, crony-capitalist, interventionist, central-bank-rigged stitch-up',
and gone against
' ..equality of opportunity, personal responsibility, minimal state, free markets'.
It is no surprise then that the young go with the free-cake no-conditions offer.
