I haven't seen it, but I'm thinking this scenario can happen regardless of sex, race, sexual orientation issues. It could be your run-of-the-mill heterosexual couple who live in the same Midwestern town where they were born, and the guy had no idea how obsessive, hard-charging, and neurotic a lawyer who owns a small firm can be. :) :) I mean, hypothetically it could happen, and I have no idea if it would be called "PC feminist" or whatever because when you're in the thick of it, it's just life. .
