If thousands walk over frozen corpses, I think they would become a bit tenderized... OK that was macabre, but it was unexpected and did extricate them temporarily from their fate... the ending will bring tears and hope...

I'm on episode 8! Bru-TAL! And Gannicus is in a bit of triangle. The frozen people bridge...genius! lol (Although they seemed to limber up when they were piled up when they should've stayed in their frozen positions... the icky stuff that I notice..)

You are right on all counts. :) I was just sporting for a good song and I received one! All is good now. I was of course warned but like a child told not to do something...

Yeah... It would make more sense then letting it hang there for a week. P.U. Sheesh.....bury it under a tree like a normal person or something. Hug the tree a couple of times and say thank you, but don't leave it attached! I bet they have a rainbow of recycle bins in front of their house.

OA..the word "placenta" was in the title.... and kh said, "pictures!".... and you still went in. Why can't people just leave placenta in an Extremely Personal TMI file for their eyes only? Placenta is personal!

I guess it's a question of the definition of feminist. My idea is a true feminist would want all people's freedom respected and left alone. You can find "feminists" though who say women must do paid work. You can find "feminists" who say a woman's place is in the home, i.e. women should take back parenting from corporations who've medicalized the birthing process and sold us formula that's no where near as healthful as infants spending all their time with mom and taking the food directly from a mother who eats organic locally-grown food. That's liberal for "a woman's place is in the home." I've seen personally seen more of this than the other feminism you mention.

you bring up an interesting argument, c.
feminists of all people, push mothers to jump back into the workforce quickly.daycare is one of those yucky "modern conveniences", in my opinion- but people need to do what they need to do.
No one is taking care of your baby better than you or very close family and friends. EXCEPT in the case of these idiots. If I had been one of their parents I would have....well...I'm not going to tell you what I would have done

There's is so much dogma surrounding having children. Sometimes I think the problem is that after society started giving women the choice to do paid work, some of them didn't want to. Rather than say that aloud, they created a panoply of difficult things about having kids. The goal is to make it as hard as hell and justify not doing paid work.

Obviously all people have an innate right to do what they want, doing jobs, being an at home parent, etc. Not everyone believes in freedom, though, and some may feel the need to justify what they're doing. "Natural births", breastfeeding, complicated diets, rituals, rejecting modern conveniences all work to make life really hard if that's what someone's shooting for.
