George Soros - Is he Ragnar?

I know I despise what George Soros has done in almost everything, but is there a possibility that he is just a banker who has gone down Ragnar's path? If I were thoroughly fed up with the central banking system, how would I react?

That is about right, straightlinelogic. Such separation would be very difficult because with banks, it is hard to see where the private sector ends and the government sector begins.

If a banker really wanted to go Galt, he would infiltrate the banking system's computer systems, and he or she would route and divide government accounts among productive, private sector worker accounts. He or she would then transfer all those accounts to a bank outside the banking system with unbreakable encryption to protect the producers' wealth from the government, something along the lines of Bitcoin. This is certainly at least a theoretical possibility, since most money is just computer entries.

The number of suicides attributable to the dystopic condition America is in is lower than I would have expected, although there have been several notable suicides in the financial field in the last year or so.

Power corrupts. Perhaps the ones with the character I mentioned are the ones who recently "committed suicide." Perhaps there just aren't any with ethics and integrity after being faced with such extreme temptations of wealth and power. The only cure (imo) is to never allow that concentration of power. The anti-federalists understood this. The banking cartel that can create money/credit must go because there is nothing to balance it in the ecosystem.

I like this idea. Wish I were rich to fund it. But if only we had a place I would certainly contribute.

I knew this was the sort of response that I would get to this post, but after reading The Creature from Jekyll Island, I got to thinking about how a banker who banked based on AR values would react if he just gave up. For example, John Allison, formerly CEO of BB&T, ran BB&T as responsibly as he could. What if someone like him went Galt? What would it look like?

One who stops being a banker and turns peoples' evidence against the banking cartel, exposing their insider secrets with documentation like Edward Snowden has done. and using the banking profits to set up a new free market 'country'.

One who doesn't then use the "loot" to fund the very organizations/movements that are enslaving the people.

I agree that Ragnar seeks justice and that Soros does not. I fully expect to get nailed on this topic, but what would the appropriate response be for a banker who "goes Galt"?

I agree with you that he is in cahoots with the Central Banks, but isn't that the fastest way to bring the entire world down?
