So, here is one of the problems festering in our country. All of them, on both sides, do nefarious things and the game is to catch them. Comrade Bernie is no different, nor his wife. The Republican who just happened to go digging, is one of Trumps people, and is now in the running to be the states Federal Attorney. So, in none of this mess is there a clear cut effrrot to just get to the facts, yet it seemingly started with an article, and a report in the paper, and then this Republican just folling the trail. Yet it always ends up as a "smear", an "attack" because you can go do the same thing with Republicans, if they leave a trail of crumbs. It's all of them. Not bad lefty, not bad righty, but they all do it. We almost need a totally neautral clearing house, but that would get compromised as well, I suppose. And they haven't even figured out how Bernie got his "3rd house on a lakefront" when all he is is a poor senator of the people.....

I think its funny actually. Socialists are basically evil people, and its great to see some of them caught.

Well, I like the fact that "the great liberators of the people" who were all against the evil corruption of politics and government, get their hands caught in the cookie jar, and then it all goes silent. But it is a great counterpoint to any more Bernie crap, especially in 2020, let us not forget. Of course, in all fairness, no conclusion has been made, no trial held, but the facts in this case appear a lot stronger than in "RussiaGate". There are real documents involved here.

Its troubling that the young people seem to want Sanders. After all, if werent for the roadblocks set up by Hillary to his nomination, he might just have been the democratic nominee in 2016. Giveaways are always more popular it seems than suggestions of personal responsibility.

Exactly. Ever since Ronald Regan, it has been a downward slide to "give me". And the expectation of delivery, and this runs across the whole culture, social and business.. Too many ways to "give me", or as I think of it "pay me to shut up".

    Hi Nickursis,
The Sanders ethics appear to be "flexible" rather than "ridged".
He is cashing in on his notoriety with book deals.

Well, this says it all, I believe:

"When he tweeted in April, for example, "How many yachts do billionaires need? How many cars do they need? Give us a break. You can't have it all," many critics, especially those on the political right, responded by pointing out that Sanders and his wife, Jane, own three homes."

He is as big a hypocrite as anyone else. The Russian Revolution was based on a propaganda war started to magnify existing inequities in their social structure, the same ones Bernie is trying to exploit, and the same people who took over "for the people" were the ones who had several Dachas in to country, while enslaving a large section of their population. Yet, because the younger generations refuse to be educated and learn history, they all get dragged under by people like Hillary, Obama and Bernie. The Republicrats are just as bad with their own version of "freedom is good, as long as we can use it to rip everyone off for our masters". In a pure free market economy, such things are really hard to pull of, because you can just go to another seller. In the Republicrat or Dumbocrap world, you will always have to pay whatever they decide you will for whatever they will sell you. The use of government to control people and force them to pay for things they do not want, or a price they do not want to pay, is something I think was Ayn Rand's basic things she was warning against. Bernie is as bad, or worse, than Hillary.
