Give them all A's AAAAA. Education Admin puts Nix on Valedictorian - from Latin origins to"say farewell"

Half of high schools do away with class rankings 'so as not to destroy teens' confidence' - with one school having as many as 48 valedictorians
During the past decade, schools around the country have stopped numbering students from valedictorian on down
Instead, they've adopted honors that recognize everyone who scores at a certain threshold - by having multiple valedictorians
Administrators worry about the college prospects of students separated by large differences in class rank despite small differences in their GPAs
There are also concerns about intense, potentially unhealthy competition and students letting worries about rank drive their course selection.

This philosophy of "everyone's a winner and nobody's efforts, talents or abilities have greater value then anybody else's " has followed these students from K through 12

Thank you. The real lesson isn't who has a higher score by the school's standards, it's which student has the (earned, justifiable) self-esteem to confidently set goals and reach them.

The "No Loser " party is around the corner. They are applauded for; not trying to win, not participating in extra curricular activities, never getting more than 2.1 mark, and going into their life's career of advanced patty flipping. Imagine a door labeled "The Real World." A non-loser knocks on it. It opens. The person who knocks says 'let me in.' Can you do algebra? No. Are you a doctor? No. What can you do? I don't know.....but I have a diploma in Liberal Arts. NEXT! Knock, knock. I see a number of you wanting in. What can you do? I'm a plumber, I'm a mechanic, I'm a doctor, I'm a teacher, I'm a handyman. Come right in!

Yeah, me dino is the one who first posted that here.
Hence my thought about needing head protection around upset snowflakes.
Head strikes can also come from behind your back in crowded places.
Heck, attacks from behind can come in parking lots as well as lonely places.
I always try to watch my back while loading groceries or at an ATM.

Yes I would not let my guard down around those cowards. You paint a picture of a philosophy ethics professor who was wearing a Soros bought mask and stepped from behind a woman and smashed a head with a bike lock. I wonder if he has had his court date. I will edit to include this miscreants name.
28 yr old Eric Clanton He assaulted 3 humans causing great physical damage.

I often offer the advice to teens who I have coached or have worked and golfed with at the local course.
I tell them that no one can take away knowledge from them and nothing is more important or has more value to them than the knowledge in their brain.

Yes LibertyBelle ,I also don't know who our classes Valedictorian was. School lessons were only interesting when an involved teacher participated. Otherwise it was quite boring. If I had been at the top of the class and received a participation trophy with others it would have pissed me off.

Say that with a loud hiss on the end and you'll make them run away crying.
This is providing they are not wearing masks.
Masks make the little babies brave.
If there is a lot of them and they are wearing masks, I would advise you have head protection and at least a baseball bat if you want to say that.

You got that right. Our students are on the road to serfdom, and they don't know it, which is exactly what public education wants.

I didn't really care who the valedictorian was. I just
hated school, and wanted it to be over with. I did
reasonably well myself, but thought a lot of the grading was unfair, being, in many cases, subjective. I was just glad to get out.--But this kind of thing, of not wanting to have any distinctions of ability or performance, is just the way things have been going for a long time in this country, in school performance and job performance, too.

Don't be so hateful over snowflake equality.. Remember, a snowflake will love your fee speech as long as it matches his free speech.
    Otherwise, YOU'RE BEING SO MEAN!
    WAAAAAAAH!

Now why would you wanna make them hissy fit cry, snap their crayons in half and tramp all over their coloring books?

Since competition is a pilar of economic activity.
The Anti -Education schools would not want their students to value it.
