Arctic expedition to monitor sea ice loss canceled due to thick ice.

6 days ago - Scientists who cancelled their Arctic expedition due to thick ice conditions haves an interesting excuse for why they had to abandon their research project — climate change.
The narrative of course is man made climate change and the warming is causing the "new ice" to move around the Arctic more. huh
The ship( an ice breaker) could not navigate the
Unpresidented 25 foot thick hard water. This is in addition to close to1000 massive icebergs this spring in the Atlantic first time that many icebergs since 1972. This is the third time in 4 years thick ice thwarted their efforts to prove how the ice is disappearing .You might recall how new shipping lanes through the Arctic was now possible, well that ice breaker got stuck of shore in Russia and that survey was abandoned.
Interesting that a report published in Feb 2017 claiming that Arctic sea ice increased from 1950-
1975 because of air pollution .Specifically Sulfate Aerosols reflecting the sunlight and cooling the Arctic. John Fyfe Senior Scientist at Environment & Climate Change Canada claims that"the cooling impact more than masked the man made global warming during that period"
Further the Clean Air Act limited sulfur dioxide emissions that produce the Sulfate Aerosols unmasking mans warming of the climate.
With the rapid build up of Greenlands Ice in addition to the Arctic Ice build that is supposed to be shrinking. My question is how will they explain away this new cooling as we enter a Grand Solar Minimum?

" how will they explain away this new cooling"?
Simple...they will still blame us...no matter, warmth or cold...it's always your fault.

Hmmm, didn't the pagan preconscious humans blame everything on an angry god and a misbehaving flock?

I'd like to watch them blow a fuse when we show them that there are more ice burgs during cold cycles but not in warm cycles.

I love the sight of an exploded liberal brain first thing in the morning...

You know that funny show that used to be aired on sunday nights showing people and pets doing stupid things?
We should include a few videos showing c[lie]mate creatures getting stuck in the ice, snowed in at climate warming rallies and constant cloudy days right after installing solar panels on their roofs...

Al Gore should be included in the show because whenever he goes some place to rant about global warming or now as it is called, climate change, it snows or really gets cold. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that he was on this expedition.

Why was (psst man-made) "global warming" changed to (psst man-made) "climate change?"
Since there has always been climate change, the (psst man-made) answer is the obvious (psst) deception.
Anyone hear a snake in here?

At least a rattler warns you of its danger!

A pygmy rattler was nice enough to keep me from stepping on it in the Florida Panhandle during the 60s.
Pygmies are reputed to be more poisonous than big rattlers but that may just be redneck rural legend.
I wasn't as nice to that little fellow at all due to it being in a populated area such as the front yard of my dad's lake house.
Had little brothers to look out for. As well as myself.

I have no sympathy for unwanted , uninvited critters on my property.
Soon after moving in with 3 kids age 6 and under, a large woodchuck set up home in a hole he dug next to the foundation under a kitchen window in the back yard. Plan A was to flood him out with the garden hose( don't try this at home as the saying goes) he got a bath and I got water in the basement. Plan B hover out the window with a machete and wait for him to poke his head out. The family returned home from an outing and it was on to plan C . When I spotted him under the slide by the swing set. I got the old bow and arrow out of the garage and shot him from the kitchen window .Haven't seen another in 31 years.may soon be open season on woodchucks in Wisconsin.
          This from yesterday 6-21-17
The state Assembly was set to vote Wednesday on a bill that would allow year-round hunting of woodchucks, also known as groundhogs.
The proposal would remove woodchucks from the Wisconsin's protected species list and establish a year-round open hunting and trapping season with no bag limits.
The measure's supporters say woodchucks, or groundhogs, are devouring gardens and undermining building foundations with their burrowing. The Alliance for Animals, the Humane Society of the United States and Midwest Environmental Advocates all oppose the
If passed by the Assembly it would still need to clear the Senate and be signed by Gov. Scott Walker before becoming law.
Now garter snakes have set up shop.

I let garter snakes go. My mother made "that's my friend" friends with a six foot long harmless black snake that a neighbor at the lake eventually killed.
If red does not touch yella to kill a fella, I let king snakes go. Only saw and killed one coral snake at the lake plus two copperheads after I moved into the Birmingham area. Stamped one copperhead on the head from behind as it crawled through the open door of a prison dorm. My job was to protect inmates unless any tried to escape. Lost count of all the rattlers and cottonmouths I killed~almost all of those at the lake.
If you have a whole mess of garter snakes, I can see that as being problematic. I've seen photos of certain snakes mating to make even more snakes that looks like one huge intertwined orgy.

I'm going to go out on a limb here use mythology to explain this:
Hillary made a deal with devil to save us all. She saw the impending doom of climate change and took action! She knew that as a good servant of Odin she had to make peace with the Frost Giants to save Valhalla and henceforth be relegated to the Shadow Land. She joined the Dark Elves and brought ice back to the world. So before you judge Hillary, Gore, Nader, and Stein, remember what they sacrificed for their country: their souls!

BTW, rbroberg you are on to something. Ra the Ancient Egyptians Sun god is responsible for our climate if their god is the sun. See Grand Solar Minimum.
