Is there anything to the Grand Solar Minimum?

A video by a Grand Solar Minimum proponent, and since I live in said location, I do know that the weather forcasts are true, it is colder, and rainy and snowing in the mountains. Is this unusual? Maybe..and while I do not have a belief I have seen enough good data to prove man made climate change, I have seen enough to know that there is some issue with CO2, and that my belief is there are an awful lot of other factors beyond the political ones "it's all man made", such as deforestation in the developing world, that none of them ever want to address. Until they get their politics out of it and go to hard data, and encompassing data that takes into account all factors, I say "bah" to their "it's all my fault" BS. But an Objectivist must rationalize all the facts, and there does seem to be some factual data to support some kind of solar minimum. Maybe the 2 will just balance themselves out?

Underlying argument of: you are guilty (regardless of evidence to the contrary), cough up the bucks (be a federal slave) to pay my salary to brainwash others and to destroy the American republic.
I will watch this one though based on your rational view, nick ;^)

Actually, I thought they made some good balanced observations on both sides, with, of course, the underlying argument....

Without even watching PBS is likely biased propaganda. I don't waste time on anything they produce except strictly entertainment, e.g., concert or opera.

Sorry to bust your bubble, he was speaking about the solar cycle as the cause of this shift. Weather has a cycle from drought to flood which a theory is that its controlled by the solar cycle every eleven years. I don’t doubt we have an influence on our environment, to say we don’t is obviously shortsighted but to point at “normal” weather patterns as proof of manmade CO2 as the cause for said weather is intellectually irresponsible.

Remember the winter of 1995 on the west coast, it was wet, very wet… We are coming out of a drought in the west and I would expect to have more water now...
