    Aglialoro and Kaslow previously stated that funding was in place for AS-3.

    Later they "reached out" to the online Objectivist community requesting donations. Now they're on Kickstarter.

    Isn't it time for them to admit that funding is NOT in place for part 3?

        Months ago, David Kelley's "TAS" site was requesting financial donations for AS-III, even after Aglialoro/Kaslow announced that the film was "fully funded."

        A bit later, on this site, requests appeared for crowd-sourcing story aspects of the film, such as Galt's speech, casting, etc. Remember this: "What do gulchers feel is the most important thing to get right in AS-III: 1) casting, 2) screenwriting, 3) directing, 4) special effects, 5) get the message right"?

        Now, under guise of "being part of the movie," you're asked to donate money.

        Wanna know what I think? Of course you do!

        I think this movie is NOT fully funded, and the screenplay is not ready yet.

        And as I've posted numerous times here, the main problems with Parts I and II were crappy screenwriting and stiff, unimaginative, 1st-year film-school-level directing. The bigger and more general problem is that the producing team of Aglialoro/Kaslow is incompetent.

        Aglialoro said "I don't care if I've got to fire five directors — that's fine. We're going to get it right."

        That moronic statement tells me right away that he has no idea what he's doing, and no idea what a director is for on a motion picture.

        Aglialoro is simply a guy with a lot of money who wants to play at being a movie producer; Kaslow is simply a lawyer who wants to do the same.

          Actually, Darren, what I wanna know is not WHAT you think, it's IF. and also WHEN.

          Usually one supports assertions with facts, thus demonstrating the reasoning behind the assertion.

          You certainly aren't demonstrating anything but your meagre control of vitriol.

      Darren, they initiated a Kickstarter campaign because producers at this website asked the movie producers to consider it. We wanted to be a part of the movie. We want to be active in bringing thousands more-yes, Darren-thousands upon thousands have read AS since they saw the movies-it's a win-win. Want to be part of that? You can PM a producer of the movie and give your ideas. They will listen.
      tell me the last movie you consulted on and had an ear-I've been waiting for that since you landed in the gulch

    There's a couple of things these moochers consistently miss: 1) crowdfunding is not the same as begging {though a few of the commenters seem to get it}; and 2) had Matt Damon asked for straight-up donations for his socialist propaganda film Elysium, these same moochers would have tripped over themselves and their peers to proclaim what a noble being he was.

      Witness the many trips liberals have made to Hollywood to milk the cash cow. And NYC is no different. They stand ready to push money into their cause and reap the adulation of their fellow libs but let a conservative try the same. OMG, they are begging because they are strapped for cash and need to go to the little guy for more money. Well, we have an interest in this too and we want to help how, and when, we can.
