Hey everybody,
I'm makin' a big, bitchin' bird tomorrow with all the fixin's and trimmings. A traditional homemade Thanksgiving meal with NO short cuts. Hanging out with my husband and sons, my parents, and a sister who is flying in from MI right now. Tomorrow will be all about fun and laughter (and drinking and eating, and playing games). I hope you all have a fabulous feast as well! :) Cheers to you all! (Well...except the trolls.)

I had Wiener Schnitzle... But that is me!
I would like to thank the Great I Am for all of the blessings He has bestowed upon me, my progeny, and this most favored nation.
Gonna squeeze in a trip to the range before the movie... Good thing it's on the way!
    Oh... And: http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/......

I'm glad you're loving it....I HATE shopping and I HATE crowds (yes it's necessary to upper case the word "hate"...for emphasis), so it's not my cup of tea at all, but have a blast. :)

You'd think I'd know the answer to that, but my Mom bought it and I cooked it in my Grandma's OLD roaster and it barely fit so it had to be at least 20 lbs. It was moist and falling off the bone. ya-um!! The entire meal was perfect. Red mashed potatoes with some of the peels left on are the best. omg. We pigged out and then went for a 3 mile walk and then played euchre and drank the night away. It was a goooood day! I am thankful for Thanksgiving Day.

How big was your bitchin' bird? Mine was 22 pounds, and he was GLORIOUS!

I did my part and I'm still doing it. Been to Target, Kohl's, Wal-Mart, and Home Depot. Now standing in line in front of JCPenney. I LOVE THIS DAY!!!! I started cooking at about 7:00 yesterday morning, fed myself and my beautiful family, and haven't stopped shopping since 8:00 last night. Everything I love about living in America packed into 24 straight hours. Happy Holidays, everyone!

LOL, I'll be out in the Arizona desert, where there aren't any stores. Or much of anything else either.

We in America can be thankful that the pilgrims did not mindlessly stick to their socialist ways and all fall together. Instead, they realized the error of their collectivist ways and became free trading individualists, thus naturally creating the American free market system, thus producing a bumper corp year, upon which they decided that it was only right to celebrate their bountiful success with their friends and neighbors. We call this Thanksgiving.

I didn't know there was such a thing as Monopoly tournaments (or tournements). :) But good luck!

Thanks for the good wishes. Same to you LetsShrug. I have no plans but if anyone knows of a big money Monopoly tournement, let me know. : )

Trolls excluded............Thanksgiving is a special time. So same to you. Also, root for Wal-Mart to hold their ground, otherwise that could be the next Hostess. That game is much more important than all the football games that are on TV today!
