Fivedollargold thinks, watching Trey Gowdy question John Brennan at today's hearing, that he's setting up a trap.

There is a reason Gowdy had a spotless record as a prosecutor. I've watched several of his grilling sessions and have been favorably impressed by his desire to get to the answers and apply the law impartially. Wish there were more like him. While I am okay with Sessions as head of Justice, I think Gowdy would have been a better pick.

For EIGHT YEARS of Obama, we've been seeing Gowdy expertly question the evil-doers in that administration and what has been the result? NOTHING. No one has suffered the consequences of "official government" looting and "fast and furious" DEATH on innocent people.

Gowdy, in my opinion, is just playing his "role".

Trey is just one of 535 congressmen. Without cooperation from the AG, Holder could not be prosecuted. And, of course, Holder WAS the AG. Lynch certainly wasn't going to prosecute a lib brother, so now it is up to Sessions. It remains to be seen, if he will do anything.

We've had control of the house for 6 of those years. The senate for two years. As a civilian and lay-person, I find Trey Gowdy very persuasive and seemingly very legally savvy. Surely he could persuade his republican colleagues to DO something in those 6 years? The fascist-dems are masters of investigate, smear, investigate, smear, investigate EVEN WHEN THEY ARE IN THE MINORITY until the most sterling of republican reputations are shattered. Surely Gowdy could have done something to bring justice upon ONE of these evil-doers....that is, IF the actual desire to do it was there?

I only wish "we" had control of the house and the senate for a couple of years.

LOL. Yes, WE actually don't have any control over our government. That is true. If, every 2 years, we would ACTUALLY vote out the miscreants, we might have a better chance! However, what I actually meant was that the side that has advertised itself as more on OUR side does.

If only the miscreants didn't control who we get to vote for (by media manipulation.) It's not a coincidence that few patriots arrive (and survive) the Dark Center. I can only think of one: Ron Paul. Both parties are lying about their goals and purposes. Unfortunately only half of the voters realize the truth about one party and the other half realize the truth about the other party. Both parties deserve a long walk off a short pier.

I actually think that it is becoming clearer to people that it is the "government class" against "The People". I think that's why Trump, the most successful (and familiar) outsider person available, was elected.

We have to hope Trump is a sly operator and can use the swamp to drown the rats... and soon. If so, you can be certain he will get the blame for any temporary side effects.

I think he's pretty sly. And, a fast learner. I think, at first, he was blindsided by the intensity of hate directed at him by most of the government class. Now, the question is, will he cave as so many others have done? Or, will he not? I'm really hoping for "not". :-)
