It seems there is no end of attempts to kill off Trump one way or another. While he seems to be a very weird duck, I still do not see him having done anything against the country, or a nefarious plan.

In the original article Douthat argues that this is important is the presidency has king-like powers. That's the actual problem.

President Trump is not unfit to discharge his duties. He's the same person the Electoral College elected. The 25th Amendment suggestion seems like a dangerous fantasy.

  I agree he is not unfit in a strict sense, however, he continually seems to come up with stuff that can be construed as unstable, without clearly justifying, this opens the doors to all the would be assassins....
