“Ruthless capitalism” - a no hold bared system where crony capitalists commonly bribe big governments for political favor, typically for big social contracts or to squash their completion.

If I was a misinformed “liberal” I might believe that Ayn Rand was in favor of this.

Anti-Rand...that is pathetic. Workers were never called "leeches." Anyone who sayd Ayn was against "workers" never read the book. The entire book preached work ethic!

Rand would call "Workers" leaches and likely did but I don't know of a specific reference.

However what the collectivist love to leave out of this statement is that she is referring to the looters who show up to a job, provide excuses but no results over and over again.

If this type of "Worker" is called a leach it sounds rather appropriate to me as the metaphorical comparison is quite good.

She showed nothing but respect and admiration for anyone that truly was a producer in their work, no matter what that work was..

Work without production is leaching off those who do produce something. That type of worker she would call a leach and probably has since she has called them a lot of other things that represent well what they are in society.
