Thymus Development and Space Weather

What science is missing is the effects of cosmic rays, which are more of a concern during the suns quiet periods.
When the sun is active, cosmic rays are integrated into the magnetic field but in the absence of solar activity the cosmic rays can reach the surface and effect DNA.
Although there be little doubt that we need a tempered interaction with our sun, the premise of this article is incorrect in its assumption for cosmic rays are more likely the main driver of these health conditions.

I have these sinus problems and little else except a hyperactive thyroid. It would be interesting to find out if 1952 fell within a solar minimum cycle or if my problems developed as a result of alloplathic protocols...ie, vaccines, mercury tooth fillings or fluoride treatments. Any one or combination of these factors could have pushed my genetic vulnerabilities over the edge.

See the suspicious0bsever.org link. It's not so much the changing of DNA but an activation of a pronality that already exists.
We are learning everyday just how entangled life and climate is with the sun.

There is some scientific evidence that space weather affects the climate on earth than it does human health. The earth has been bombarded with cosmic rays for billions of years. They may have cause mutations in the rise of early hominids into the various stages to the rise of homosapiens. Same in the animal kingdom but that is over millions of years. We would have to be drenched in a lot more radiation to cause any genetic changes. In that case, humans would no longer be around.

Not even close Ben, I suspect they will incorporate a study of other possible causes as well but these conditions have existed prior to TV or powerlines but I would Not doubt that these things have contributed also.

They are not grasping...they are observing. These connections have been observed for many years, new info, new tech has been utilized to look at these connections closer.
Minor symptoms usually lead to major symptoms somewhere down the road.
We must start integrating this knowledge.

The presumption in this research is that the ONLY source of electromagnetic fields are from the sun. Electric power lines are another source, How about the old cathode ray TV's? While the article looks very impressive I doubt its validity. There simply are too many environment factors - both natural and man made, to hang your hat solely on the sun. Looks like an academic publication to meet tenure requirements.

People grasping at straws to explain their every minor symptom is how pseudoscience gets its start.

It's true. There's gotta be some reason you are the way you are.
    (Smiley-faced thingy inserted here.)
However, science has yet to achieve that degree of complexity.

Yep...there is always epigenetics plus there are many herbs, food and 'attatoods' that can help undue the damage. I start at the lowest common denominator...eating right for my blood and genotype...as best I can afford.
A good immune system is immensely useful at mitigating the damage as well. I have been experimenting with human growth hormone encouragements...nothing groundbreaking yet, though.

Yes cosmic rays and UV light.
My Thymus gland is long gone.
DNA strands have far more potential .room for many more codes than we use. I suppose similar to the brain function. Maybe these rays can connect a few more of the DNA dots.......

Exactly, although there have been global events, the vast majority are local and expected in northern and southern extremes depending upon our tilt at the time in relation to the sun and our orbit-(and distance from the sun...ie seasons).

    Good integrated observation Nick.

    Carl,
I am not sure I see that this would be a hard connection they make, in that have they addressed geolocation variance, where you may be exposed at different levels depending on your position on eart vs the geomagnetic field. It tends to warp itself in a hign solar wind event and also, what about compensating for the side facing the storm vs the side not? They do not address the mothers locations during their periods. Not sure they can make a valid hypothesis without accounting for those variables.
