Having found Miss Rand in the late 60's and subscribed to the original Objectivist newsletter. This flight (the movie) had an over abundance of turbulence that left me bruised & battered both physically and mentally. Why anyone who had this incredible gem in their possession would elect to film 3 movies with 3 different directors ....and 3 entirely different cast goes against every ounce of objectivism. I mean did these produces not grasp the overwhelming reality that in doing so you would get 3 completely different films? Even, myself, as a novice would have reached this conclusion the moment it was uttered by the 1st moron any discussion concerning moving forward with a script. Anyone who is a fan of Ayn Rands opus has to be appalled by it's handling.
One has to wonder why Mr.Peikoff signed off on this atrocity when he represents/owns Miss Rands ideas.
....and to call this site the "collective!"

As ASP3 Producer Scott DeSapio said when the film premiered, “This is not the movie that’s been playing in your head since you closed the back cover. This is however, without question, a celebration of Ayn Rand’s ideas.”

Dr. David Kelley (of The Atlas Society) wrote an article about the recasting from movie to movie. You can read it here: https://atlassociety.org/atlas-shrugg...
