Eco-Terror Bullets Fly In Bama On Earth Day Weekend

Police called this drive-by shooting "random" but I don't think so. I'd call it the sloppy shooting attack on a specific target.
I think it was meant to rattle global warming skeptic and climatologist Jeff Christy at the National Science and Technology Center of the University of Alabama-Huntsville.
Those shots hit a bit too close to his office on Earth Day weekend. A "March For Science" parade had even passed by there.
If I were Christy, I'd be getting on TV and roaring with triumph, "Hey, EcoNazis! Ya MISSED me!" But Christy ain't old dino and so there ya go.
Wonder how EcoNazis "march for science." Dress up in black like ISIS?

When even Bill Maher calls the liberal attempts to suppress opposition speech or thought a version of book burning, you know the wheels have come off the wagon.

It's funny how half seem to believe it's okay to shoot at, or threaten, those that disagree with them, but those that obey the law can't break it to inforce their beliefs. What? What the heck did I say, I really have little idea? I'm getting confused about the law, are we not supposed to inforce the ones we don't believe in?

I started to share a story here, but deleted it. I'll put it out on a new post, about the confusion I'm experiencing about my personal feeling and the law. I'll be asking for advice, I'm really starting to think I need it. Please don't call the thought police, yet.

Enforce! Even my squiggly red-lining spell checker does not like inforce.
All this shooting, rioting, threatening and shouting down the free speech of others only enforces my belief that I'm on the right side of a nation divided.

Sorry, I'm get more worried about my dyslexic fingers, and sometimes I even type precisely one letter off and then can't even read it myself.

Sorry you have that problem. Had to look it up to relate.
Would a spell checker that red-lines misspellings help?

In the Gulch I get red lines on tpyos, sometimes, sometimes not. I actually made the disease "dyslexic fingers" up. What I do is tpye and tihngs cmoe out with the lettres sort of mixed up. I know it's just that somehow my figngers are firing out of sequence, or one fires a split second before it should, or too late, even to the point of putting in the space between words before the prior word has ended, resaultin ginthe nextw ord all messed up. What is scary is that it's gettnig wrose. Some software does autocorrectionis but sometimes corrects to the worng usage word anyway. But then again today is my brithday, I just truned 3/4 of a cetnury. Never thought I'd make it this far, no real complaints.

I had a hunch you made that up but it was nothing I would bet money on. Now I have a hunch you're deliberately overdoing typo "accidents" in the above reply. But I wouldn't bet money on that either.
Happy birthday. I'm not far behind you. I turned 70 in March.

The law, like religious moral codes, conflates too many of its writers' own prejudices with real morality, thereby putting the whole notion of morality in undeserved public disrepute. So long as that is true, the idea that "we are supposed to enforce even the laws we don't believe in" is both wrong and counterproductive.

A good person gives first priority to being morally right (that is, non-aggression). Even if he is a police officer that can only be job 2.
