Yeah...when kh and non mooch get talking wine and I just sit back with my Seagram's Jamaican Me Happy and think.."I have NO idea what you two are even speaking about." It's a different language... literally..I can't pronounce half of what she just said up there! (And I took French for 2 years.)

You know your wines better than I do. I generally drink dry reds. I go to a winery I like and taste test. I buy what tastes good at the time. Thought of keeping a journal once but never did.

I like both. a beautifully semi dry reisling or Liebfraumilch in the fall-after a vigorous hike in the mountains to cool off with. I like a sultry, buttery chard in the evenings to unwind with, I enjoy a Pouilly-Fuissé when I want a vigorous dinner conversation. I enjoy a small tip of porto with a dab of dark chocolate before he evening closes
