President Obama's Scorecard

I am losing track...

1. Benghazi: who knew what; and when did they stop knowing it?

2. NSA spying. Are they reading everyone's emails or not? Are they reviewing everyone's phone calls or not?

3. Syria. Are either or both the Rebels and/or the Assad Regime guilty of using chemical weapons, as opposed to the usual modes of slaughter?

4. Quantitative Easing. (I think this is really number Minus One.) Is the Federal Reserve pumping another trillion dollars into federally-favored businesses or not?

From the Reuters blog of David Rohde this morning:

"Distrust of Obama on the right, of course, is nothing new. Conservatives have reviled him for years. What threatens Obama is a lack of trust from his liberal base. ... Since he won re-election, liberals have expressed growing frustration with Obama’s national security policies."

Headline - For Obama, a contradiction too many, here - http://blogs.reuters.com/david-rohde/201...

I only thought it was a provocative rant. I am not a Bush supporter and it is true that Obama is continuing many objectionable Bush policies. I see Obama as putting them in overdrive! I have no trouble bashing Republican comrades with equal zeal.

Thumbs down on Mychal Massie, a self-avowed Christian minister and a self-identified conservative. The enemy of my enemy is not my friend. His invective against President Obama and the First Lady was just a litany of buzzwords. What little substance he offered was actually contrary to any application of Objectivism to political analysis.

It is true that the Obama Scorecard is racking up penalties and losses faster than Nixon in 1972. However, President Obama is only continuing the policies of President Bush. Like Bush and Nixon, Obama is a conservative-liberal or liberal-conservative, i.e., a political pragmatist. Note that in the news Note that according to Secretary of State John Kerry, Saudi Arabia supports President Obama's initiative into Syria. (See here: http://www.cnn.com/2013/09/08/politics/s...). This is the same Saudi Arabia from whence the 9/11 Terrorists came and to which the family of Osama bin Laden was escorted at US expense, courtesy of the American government because of the close relations between the Saudi Royal Family and the Bush Family.

It is easy to hate President Obama and it is easy to hate Muslims. That way we do not have to tell our Christian neighbors that we are atheists who support a woman's right to terminate a pregnancy. By condemning Democrats, we can avoid telling the uncomfortable truths to our Republican comrades.

The President is not doing well. Identifying the objective reasons for his failures is the only moral response.

    1. They all knew, they all lie. Any road to power.
    2. Yes to both. Any road to power.
    3. Yes. Any road to power.
