I thought they did a great job on the trailer for part 2. I watch it occasionally to re-focus.

    It is great...
except-why the hell are they fixated on copyrights in the trailer and ignore PATENTS! which right is more essential to our economic well-being?!
    sigh

Because Hollywood is concentrated on a product that is copyrighted - the rest of us live where patents are far more relevant. Different forms of creativity require different protections and at times one side may forget the other side lives in a different world.

Because people have little concept of the difference, unfortunately, and the goal of this is to make people recognize gov intrusion and intervention in private business. :) (I know it was a rhetorical question...sometimes I like to answer those anyway. God I'm annoying.)

Its been coming for a while, FDR seizing gold https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Executive_...

Executive Order 6102 required all persons to deliver on or before May 1, 1933, all but a small amount of gold coin, gold bullion, and gold certificates owned by them to the Federal Reserve, in exchange for $20.67 (equivalent to $366.59 today[3]) per troy ounce. Under the Trading With the Enemy Act of 1917, as amended by the recently passed Emergency Banking Act of March 9, 1933, violation of the order was punishable by fine up to $10,000 (equivalent to $177,352 today[3]) or up to ten years in prison, or both. Most citizens who owned large amounts of gold had it transferred to countries such as Switzerland

There was no Ragnar in 1933. Is there one today?
