Shouldn't our POTUS be writing this kind of editorial? Obama walked straight into this (with help from Mr. Kerry).

The former head of the KGB has a more reasoned argument than our supposed Constitutional Scholar who thinks we're a Constitutional Democracy. He must have slept through the class that taught we're a Constitutional Republic.

Yeah I understand Putin's reasons, no need to explain.

      Hello rockymountainpirate,
Don't you tire of the lack of proper respect and media accuracy regarding our Republic?
It seems the most basic attack, the beginning... the precursor to the dismantling.
      Regards,
      O.A.

It irritates me no end. There's a huge difference between a democracy and a republic. It's like saying irregardless instead of either regardless or irrespective. Words have power and you're correct about the dismantling.

Do you think democrats get some sense of superiority from calling themselves such and our Republic a Democracy, or do you think it is ignorance?
Irregardless is like saying I could care less...

I think it's both. 99 out of 100 people say democratic party, which in actuality is the democrat party, but it sure sounds superior the wrong way. I lean really heavily on the ignorance part for most people in intentional deceit on the part of those who really do know.

            What do you think?

You are probably right. "Useful idiots." I like to give benefit of doubt to most. It does seem since it was such a critical distinction and part of my primary education that it is difficult to accept such an oversight in others being promulgated at every turn.

Well done. Putin is emerging from this as the leader of the free world. Obamas weakness and Putins leadership may shift the balance towards Russia. Putin probably has more influence around the world today than Obama does. Thats sad.
