Does American Legacy Aircraft Top the F-35 for Counterinsurgency?
A case where a 50 year old design is just too good to let go, as well as cost a lot less to operate than the fancy toy that the government would have (and all the associated payoffs no doubt). One has to wonder why the government and senior military people keep wanting to spend billions, when millions is enough? Could have been in AS....

- 2Posted by freedomforall 7 years agoOh, BTW, this was the aircraft that BATF surreptitiously purchased (22 of them) for their private air force back in 1996. Gives me a warn and fuzzy feeling knowing the federal government trusts a group of murderers disguised as tax collectors to use war planes against innocent citizens.
