Nice, personal responsibility is sometime thrust upon you, when you really didin't want to be accountable, but put on a show to look big and bad....

The only 2 I can think of that I could support is Tim Allen and Charleton Heston....I am sure there are more, but as Tim Allen said yesterday, you do not express conservative views in Hollywood or you get ganged up on and do not work.

I won't. personal responsibility, you don't like it, feel free to move....I am not a fan of sports and their milking of they system, especially the billions they have blackmailed out of cities and counties, so let the NFL pay for it.

Any mistreatment of anyone due to their skin color or genealogy is abhorrent , as you mention certain places are very deadly. Evil behavior sadly has no borders ,despicable behavior is as despicable in Cairo , Illinois as it is in Cairo ,Egypt.

Works for me. I am completely sick of discussion of racial prejudice. The faster people stop blaming others for their lot in life, the faster the whole situation will be irrelevant.
The guy with a ridiculous formulated vocabulary, 17 tattoos, nine piercings, his pants around his thighs, iPhone 6s+ and complete disdain for work does not get to tell the Asian college kid dressed mainstream, speaking flawless English that he has a shot, just because he isn't black.

If he feels this way, there aren't many places on this planet that he will stand up and show pride in. He can begin with Africa and the Middle East, where all this mistreatment started, and is STILL going on. Why do I hear crickets when I say that?!?

All the camel wants is to get his nose under the tent, usually by making it seem attractive to unaffected onlookers (non-blacks, non-Chinese, non-Japanese - always minorities). The next thing you know, there's camel poop all over the place INSIDE the tent, and it's too late to complain about the camel trying to get in.

Sounds like he is remembering Waco, and those dead people at the hands of the FBI 20+ years ago (35 white, 27 black, 6 asian, 6 latin.) The feds are just as likely to oppress whites today as blacks, perhaps more so, with President Oracist as an example. Federal oppression is unacceptable regardless of the demographic of those being oppressed and looted.

One issue at hand is that Americans are too quick to look to professional athletes as some sort of example of how to live. These people are a combination of talented, hard-working, and spoiled. You can tell the exact mix by their behavior. I couldn't care less anymore...

"I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color," Kaepernick said, via NFL.com. "To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way. There are bodies in the street and people getting paid leave and getting away with murder."

If it were an Ayn Rand story, he'd alienate so many people by speaking his mind that he'd have to work the most menial jobs to make ends meet, while more practical people wondered how long it would it take for him to learn to keep his mouth shut, to be mindful of his image in the public eye, to avoid alienating customers, and so on.

The Vikings would take him , they will play any kind of criminal they can get their hands on. Kaepernick just needs to get arrested a couple of times. Most arrested NFL team last 5 and 10 years = Vikings .I bet for the last quarter century. But I can't find those stats.
Years ago Randy Moss purposely hit a traffic cop exiting a parking ramp. I joked at the time that it was the best hit by a Viking all year.Minnesota Vikings receiver Randy Moss was arrested Sept. 24, 2002 after being accused of bumping a police traffic officer with his car. The officer tried to stop Moss from making an illegal turn, and...

Really the only problem is that the ingrate has probably banked $15-20 million in his first handful of years in the NFL. Yeah, he's on hard times now, but if he had any sort of financial management, he shouldn't have to worry about working at the local Wal-Mart to cover 3 squares a day like many of the rest of us. PS: Don't forget: The kid is only 29 years old! If he's smart (???) he'd "fall on the sword", admit he was under duress and mistaken in his actions. In the great old US of A, he'd be welcomed to work towards further success...2nd chance, 3rd chance....just don't screw it up again kid!!

I am with you. Watching football on Sunday's is what I used to do I gave it up twenty five years ago.
Love having the 3-4 hours of my own time being productive.

I can not forgive people for expressing such disdain for our flag on a false premise. Ignorance is no excuse for stupidity no matter what side you're on. If it can't come across positive it's probably a better decision just to keep your mouth shut especially when you're in the public eye. Kaepernick will probably learn this about the time he becomes too old to play.

Of course I'm prejudiced in my opinions too, I was in the service and understand what the flag represents..

It's Interesting how these things eventually all come together. The Kaepernick story, although an opposite kind of story, reminded me of my experience coming back from Vietnam. My old job was gone (rocket & space industry), we had already gone to the moon while I was over there. When I went looking for a job it actually took me a couple of months to realize that there were a lot of huge major companies that would not hire me as soon as they found out I had served in Vietnam. Maybe they thought I might kill their women and children. I was considering taking Vietnam off my resume. I was totally dumbfounded, but soon became very pleased that one of them, 3M Company, actually gave me a job which I believe might have been because I had served in Vietnam. When I was interviewed (after passing the testing) my interviewer actually asked me a more questions about my experiences over there than about my electronic and mechanical abilities. It was the only company that even mentioned Vietnam. No one else ever asked anything about it. Thirty two years later I retired from 3M. I feel I got exactly what I deserved, a fine career, with a fine company.

I just hope Kaepernick gets exactly what he deserves too. If as a coach I was forced to have him on my team, I'd rather play with 10 men on the field and let him keep the bench warm. Same sentiment goes for John Kerry and his friend Jane Fonda. These people are purely, and totally, ignorant of what they are protesting. Should that be a legitimate excuse? What's worse however are the people that support them anyway. Football is all about money, but on occasion some fans and owners actually see the light, the real things that matter.

I boycotted NFL all season. I didn't watch a single game, including Super Bowl. Godell was booed mercilessly at Super Bowl trophy presentation and at NFL Draft. NFL needs to get some balls and come down on morons like Kapernick. Show respect for our country!!

Add him to the many protesters that refuse to take a history course and learn what America is all about. Yes free speech is allowed but stupid speech is shunned for what it is.

He would just be a pain in the ass to work with. I didnt have anything to do with his upbringing or whoever brought his ancestors over by "tight pack", so theres nothing I can do about those things. He should think about his life NOW rather than try to make people today feel guilty over what happened years ago
