I guess I need to buy the poster for a more detailed analysis and put on my tactical reconnaissance hat. The dollar sign jumps out at you if you just lean back in your chair.
I'll use the poster as a sunscreen in my wind shield in the employee parking lot.
    Cheers

There seems to be something on the left side in the upper 1/3. The color seems to be more flesh colored, like it's a face or something.

A liberal would classify John Galt in this poster as "King Of The Road.," which would clearly demonstrate the liberal mentality- always identify with the lowest common denominator.

Look at spur line (tracks) that goes off to the right. Then look in the lower right hand corner of the poster. The symbol of Atlas holding the globe. Notice the lines on the globe? They match the spur line.
The smoky dollar sign is easier to see if you sit back a bit.

Winterwind, I was just hoping it was the velvet (not silk) cape. Thanks for looking up the quote from the book. I have my own vivid image of that scene in the book following the self imposed torture of Dagny in Galt's Gulch.
I agree, something is "made" of the rails, but I can't determine what it is.

    Good Hunting

I believe the dark sphere area in the upper right is the world (a globe) and under that is the head and shoulders of the struggling Atlas.

I think what you're seeing as a wall on the left is actually a railroad carI - good spotting on the WIJG. I think that's a person on the right, slumped against the wall.
The cape that she wears when she meets Galt under the Terminal is black velvet - "She wore no other ornament, only the sweep of a black velvet cape, more arrogantly, ostentatiously patrician than any spread of sables." I wonder how many people, besides myself, have bought a black velvet cape because of that scene?

I also think the shape of the rails means something - I wanted it to be the initial "A", the way she wrote it, but with some pondering, I don't think so. There's something there, tho.

    More pondering needed.

There is "Who Is John Galt" on the wall to the left, and it looks like Dagny's black silk cape laying on the ground to the right.
    Cheers
