IMO they will not be eligible for unemployment pay because they are out of work due to a labor dispute and in addition they are at cause for their unemployment. Were I one of the workers, I'd be particularly galled at the union because the workers PAID for the advice to strike. If someone buys the company and reopens, they are going to do it as a non union shop and if they get their jobs back, it's likely to be at less pay and with fewer benefits.They PAID for this advice.
