Thank you for welcoming me. I am really looking forward to the movie because beyond the primary theme of the rejection of the dependant society but just as important, is the absolute and utter belief in the individual. The children born today are just as smart, strong and healthy as those born 100 years ago...probably more so. The problem is that they are taught they cannot succeed without the help of the government, that the world is a zero sum game - that to succeed, they must take from another. That is the anti-thesis of the America I believe in. For me, every time I want to withdraw - I double down and teach my kids to be independent, to be resposible for their own actions, to try and "build" something. I hope this part of the message comes through.
