It's two _fewer_ police officers, you idiot.
Also, mistrust of police and other authority figures is more of a left-wing thing, if we had to choose.
I think that cops can turn bad if they aren't careful. It's a tough job, for sure. I'll never forget a few years ago when I took my family out for dinner. I was holding my 1-year old and my 5 year old was standing with me - and my lovely wife. We went to a little place near our house. I noticed three thug looking guys in a corner booth giving me the stink eye. I thought, "If these guys start anything with my family it's on. I'm protecting my family." I'm a big guy - heavyweight boxer. They left us alone. But, after the meal when we left I noticed their car parked out front. They were plain-clothes police, on duty. That tripped me out. Maybe they weren't happy to have an alpha dog come in(?) I don't really know. But, they wanted a piece of me.
Tonight, a friend is going to ask me to join him in the Guardian Angels. Uh...no thanks.
