Contrary to this opinion, I think an actual censure was needed in this case. Warren and the Democrats didn't have any problems confirming their extremist people, and now when the tables are turned they cry foul and invent reasons to block these appointments.

What I found interesting in this article was that filibusters are not the end-all of debate in the Senate. This is a standing rule designed to make sure that Senators get their say but forces them to focus their efforts. I fully support its use. Let people debate nominees, but the purpose of debate is not to halt legislation, but to make your points and let people decide from there. Of course the filibuster has been taken to an absurd end...
