Boycott of Budweiser's politically correct pro immigration ad

Oh, Bud says it was in the works before Trump's EO ban. True or not, it is a political statement and Busch claiming it is not is a simple lie.
However, in a free market Busch can advertise in any legal way. The market will reward or punish their actions.
Hooray for free markets!

I think "American Company" is a concept to protect companies that we can steal from via taxation and do not care if our quality of life is improved by goods produced elsewhere. In adding the burden of being a slave to government they are at a competitive disadvantage even in situations where they should be the most efficient producer. If you have a highly automated plant producing a large number of units, a labor rate of $50 an hour vs. $8 means very little. The transportation cost to market and security costs largely favor US producers. What cannot be overcome are taxes, regulations and trade restrictions.
I do not support uncontrolled immigration because economically, it is unwise to welcome those without education, skills and/or a willingness to work which would be an additional burden to our welfare state. I also agree that we need to screen out those that wish to do us harm. I do believe that we still have a lot to gain from immigration and could learn a lot from those that have struggled to get here, are grateful for the freedom they enjoy and are working hard to improve their and their families' welfare. Many of our native born citizens seem to need a refresher course in self sustainability and respect.
One of the flaws in democracy: the ability to sway others.
Who do you mean by "we"?
If you mean (a) the federal government and state governments and media, all being manipulated and guided by socialist-statists, and (b) federal government and socialist-statist elites purposely encouraging millions of people who have no idea about the responsibilities of freedom to illegally immigrate then I agree that they have done so.
The we that I know have opposed these manipulations and invasion while simultaneously raising our families, and running our businesses and being constantly assailed with unconstitutional taxes and regulations.
Today is not the 17th, 18th, 19th century. Uncontrolled immigration is not a benefit to America today.
America has benefitted from immigrants and will benefit from limited, legal immigration in the future
Basically:
"If I am free to choose my beliefs, I will allow you the freedom to choose yours".
Many of the issues we disagree on today were debated by the founders. Jefferson and Hamilton could come back to life and pick up exactly where they left off. Other than the issues of slavery and women's suffrage, I cannot see where we have made any improvements. Mostly we have violated individual rights and created a charade for government by and for the people.
