What? Acting in one's own interest works on a societal level?
Progressives are in collective apoplexy over this one, which should chill any further calls for gun control. It turns out that in a study just released, there is a direct correlation between exercise of self-protection and violent crime rates. That's not what the nanny state wants to hear.
