Now that I'm getting the hang of this, I'm wondering how to make a post that "sticks"?

I've "tossed" a few ideas (posts) out as fodder for commentary, but I'd like to post some ideas that can evolve as the critiques help to refine, advance, or invalidate them.

    You managed to hit me [no, not like THAT] on one of my silly/wickedly sarcastic days after I'd been reading AS and was in the Gulch. But you did pretty well, I'd say!

    no, go with it....to be or not, that's sometimes a hard question. adult bevvies make it easier - or go away, 5 or the other.

    oooh, yeah. I assume you have BOTH the Tanqueray and the Stoli in the freezer, with those nice stemmed glasses - the ones that keep your fingers from heating up the liquid? Good. Fill one with crushed ice, cover with Tanqueray, and bring a small bowl of olives. If anyone even THINKS of the word "vermouth" while it's being prepared, start over.

    Nice place you have here. Not too smoky, interesting people - might have to stay a bit.
