I thought the recent discovery that the statues of Easter Island actually had full bodies was very cool. Check it out!
This is just another example of the kind of lost technology that Atlas Shrugged was about, the lost knowledge of the 20th Century engine--compared to these archaeological discoveries that show how complex a society was that we used to believe was simple islanders.
