This is what happens when government gets involved in your business. Hostess can't even drop their business without being told to sit down with the union in "mediation."

    While I was on vacation it occurred to me that these 18,000 people who would rather lose there jobs than take a pay cut, are actually not being forced to make a logical decision.

    They get laid off, they go on unemployment. So if the company won't pay us what we want we will still take a pay cut and get to sit on our butts all day.

    After watching my own mother go on unemployment for a year plus, it isn't hard, apply to jobs you won't get.

    Those 18,000 jobs at 2,000 a month are costing the country a cool 36 million a month.

    Too bad it's a bankruptcy situation or the judge wouldn't have a say in forcing any mediation (and still shouldn't but anyway). Business owners can't even call the shots anymore in their own business decisions. And people think this is perfectly okay too...
