Nice little video of the WH press briefing where "Josh" gets to ask all the "right" questions. Not sure what the whole thing was like, but "Josh" certainly seemed to be "the man".

Could the Obama admin and the DemoRats have put pressure on Sweden, say, financial pressure? Maybe even through the IMF? Gotta look up Sweden's economy.

" careful wording aspect that means they are up to something"
I see no sign whatsoever of such machinations. It's all nonsense aimed at people who operate at the name-calling level.

This is all just fodder for people who get paid to try to fire up people's emotions. Russian interference in US politics does not affect the legitimacy of our president-elect. Our desire for a pristinely legitimate president-elect does not affect the reality who it appears like Russia did.

I loved the part where she said she wouldnt add a penny to the national debt. Of course, the budget is 500 billion in the red right now, plus she wanted another trillion in NEW spending. That made NO sense to me at all. Didnt she learn addition and subtraction ?

There were a few of us who tried to remain objective and disregard the inflammatory rhetoric against, and the bloviated nauseating praise for Hillary Clinton. Just looking at the policies on her web site made it obvious why she avoided talking about them during the campaign. She was going to increase taxes on everyone at all levels of income; she was for open borders and increasing the arrival of refugees and asylum seekers; she was going to destroy the energy industry and crush small businesses with heavier burdens of regulations; she had no intention of fixing Obamacare. On the campaign trail, she threatened to use conventional weapons to punish the Russians for disclosing the DNC skulduggery. She chortled over how she was going to put a lot of coal miners out of work, and when confronted over that statement by miners, mumbled something about how they'd get job training.

After reviewing all of that, the choice was obvious. Combined with her absolutely horrible failures as Secretary of State, there was no way in hell that I wanted her anywhere near the White House, whether she was crooked or not (which she decidedly is).

now I have lost trust in pretty much all of the establishment. I always look for the hidden agenda at this point.

Yes, I hope Trump gets Sweden to drop the case, as even the prosecutor told them there was no evidence to support it, but the Judge seems to answer to a different caller beyond justice. Just like in the US.

Exactly my point, they need to clean house VERY deeply. The entrenched "manipulate at all costs for the party" philosophy needs to go back to "we serve the people and the chips will fall where they may".

I like Assange. We need leakers and whistleblowers. The powerful people do bad things and then hide them. Time to drain the swamp and expose them. Free Assange and Snowden as well as Manning now that Obama is gone (for good hopefully)

Its obvious Obama put them up to this, and I hope that the leaders in the intelligence departments, who are just liberal hacks, get fired on jan 20. Same with the FBI dude, Comey. Why do we pay for such people to be in positions of power? Its crazy

Oh yes, I see your point. It was just like the IRS thing where they "lost" the emails that were requested. It is always the careful wording aspect that means they are up to something..

Well, at least Assange is sticking to what they started with. From the get go, Assange said they would not reveal their sources, so as to encourage others to provide things like this. The result has been his persecution by collaborative states. I find the Swedish thing weird because Sweden normally does not follow the herd...But Wikileaks at least seems to try to verify the veracity of their source, rather than just release anything they get. Unlike the Administration.

Indeed Doc, it is the fact that they continue to lie, manipulate and maneuver that is the most irritating thing about the current Admin. I just hope Trump realizes every time they lie, they get caught eventually and it just devolves into messes like this...

The reason Hilary lost is that she is crooked. The emails just showed that. If she wanted to win, she could be NOT crooked, and stop hiring idiots like Podesta and her Uma person. The media did far more distorting of the election than the Russians ever could, and she STILL lost.

The U.S. government has interfered in more than 80 elections in other countries, with propaganda, bribery, assassination, and inciting the overthrow of legitimate governments, so all this huffing and outrage is just a tad hypocritical. The Obama administration funded an effort to defeat Benjamin Netanyahu in Israel, and helped with the overthrow of the duly elected government in Ukraine. The latter had the goal of inducting Ukraine into NATO and denying Russia a Black Sea port.

The CIA report (even the classified version) is ludicrous. They didn't investigate the DNC computers, but declared they'd been hacked by someone located in Russia. This led to the ridiculous claim that since Putin knows everything that happens in Russia, he must have directed the hack. In an attempt to reinforce the image of Russian interference, they pointed to anti-Hillary posts on the Russia Today English language YouTube channel, declaring it to be hostile propaganda. The fact that there are less than a half million subscribers to that channel, not all of whom are American voters, minimizing any influence didn't seem to get mentioned.

Fortunately, most Americans regard all of the fuss about Russian attempts to influence the outcome of the election as much ado about nothing (credit to Bill Shakespeare there). Hopefully, all of this frantic grasping at somehow making the Trump victory disappear will end with his inauguration, but some left wing extremists will, I'm sure, continue to kick up a fuss.

Did he say anything about "during" the election? Sounds like you're saying Ovomit said the election was fair before, and it was fair after, but he neglected to mention whether it was fair during. Get where I'm coming from?

Thanks, nick, for finding this. I just have this to say:

He wants public, I'll give him public!

Did anyone see Assange's WikiLeaks Press Conference this morning? Assange is protecting sources, too. Spy vs. Spy?

The claims that our voting system is fair and that Russia attempted to influence American politics using hacking are not mutually exclusive. My understanding is both claims are true.
"He has slid slowly into "We want a do over" "
This would be different. Do you have a link to him saying anything remotely close to this?

I would disagree, he continually changes the narrative from "It was fair and open" to "The Russians hacked into it and.." then by saying that, the implication is "effected it". He has slid slowly into "We want a do over" and just hasn't gotten there yet, but still has a few days to go.
