This reporter is 100% correct when he states that our elected officials serve US. Not the other way around!

That's an interesting theme that appears to be prevalent, no matter where we all happen to reside.

well the representative has been there some time and is republican. The two senators are democrat and fairly new. Udall has been outspoken on the NSA stuff, but in general, I disagree with their votes.

ruling class mentality.
I've actually had good luck with all of elected officials in Colorado. Sometimes, an aide will be snarky, but most often I get a response that is not form letter in nature and my Representative or his office will give me lots of time on particularly important issues we have expertise in.

That is great you've had such positive experience. I've had such with my republican reps, not so the dems. Go figure.
