    Snort. Kettle, you're black. And if one celebrates winning or achievement, well, that's just MEAN and is going to hurt the LOSER'S feeeeeeelings. Wah. Wah. Wah.
    I wonder how that math is working for them? Oh wait. Math is now interpretive.

    This excerpt is just talking about racism. Talking about racism is not racism. The racial tensions surrounding Obama's election were very real, so it's only natural for a history book to discuss those issues.

    The other night, I was walking down a crowded corridor in the back of the store, and one young black, female employee said to another, "Watch out", suggesting the second young black, female employee make room for me to get down the corridor with the pallet jack I was pulling.

    The second young black female employee said, "HE better watch out for ME".

    I was feeling my age, cranky, depressed, tired and in no mood for false bravado, so I said as I trudged past, "I'm white, I'm old and I'm a man, I don't have to watch out for anybody."
