I think the author is a liberal and maybe the scientist in the article too...laughing

Do you dress like a slob, guys...are you less concerned about rules, get into car accidents, very subdued and very suspicious?
You Might be a Cat Lover...hahahahahahah

This is hilarious! Should of been an April Fools Article.

PS...had many indoor and outdoor cats that crapped in my sand box and I have none of those symptoms.

Sorry, you'll have to forgive me. I live in Portland O - that would be considered accurate and serious reporting with valid and substantiated evidence based research founded solely on peer reviewed literature by authorities respected throughout government. It's a little different here :-)

Did really care for the article OR writing style. This seems like yet another attempt to place fear at the center of action. It's in large part your immune system, hormones and enzymes that determines your ability to ward of parasites. There was also the promise of "Don't worry, there's a test". False advertising. While they mentioned someone being tested, the author never actually said what, who, how about the test. Disappointing and not very credibility establishing.

Liberal in the list of symptoms...looking to blame their or others behavior on something besides their own lack of control; nevermind that the symptomatic scenario seems to mimic what happens to most couples, especially older ones...with or without cats.
Actually, by description, it sounded a lot like liberal, progressive demoncraps.

Obviously the parasite is real but I doubt that it effects healthy humans that way. Myself being a case in point.

Why a liberal? I must have missed something.
I've heard of this parasite a long time ago (from a book called Survival of the Sickest). Its lifecycle includes changing the mind of a mouse host, to make it unafraid of cats, so it gets eaten and the parasite gets back into the cat to continue its lifecycle.
Its not surprising that it has at least some psychological effect on other mammals (humans).
