Half right, half wrong

I will agree with the interesting findings that genomic differences in humans go back thousands of years. These differences manifest themselves in athletic performance as well as intellectual acumen and even music. i will go further and add that I agree that merit and not physical appearance should be used as the basis of interaction.

That being said, I have to disagree with the outrageous presumption made by the author that Obama was elected based on his intelligence. Even the blacks themselves admitted that their overwhelming support was based on his skin color and not his policies - racism if it were ever apparent.

I entered the gulch because I thought surrounding myself with smart people would make me more intelligent, or at least more knowledgeable. It's worked so far.

I don't know. The talking heads in the media are so vapid that even politicians have more brains. It's a matter of comparative intellect vs absolute intellect. ;)

Or there's another one that goes like this:

Q: Why is it so difficult to telephone people in China?

A: Because everytime you "Wing" you get a "Wong" number!

    Ba-dum cha!

Not to mention I for one have seen no real evidence of great intelligence.

Surrounding yourself with idiots may make you appear smarter, but it does not convey intelligence.

In fact, the reverse would be the intelligent thing to do.

The only "evidence" of his intelligence is the unending media chorus praising it.

Which of course is not evidence, merely sycophanty.

Okay, the combination of words and such prompted my brain to come up with a horrible, horrible (and probably racist) joke. I don't think I invented it, because I vaguely recall hearing it once a long time ago. But then that's how deja vu works. Perhaps they're just making a change in the Matrix...

Didja hear the one about the guy with a lisp whose father was English and whose mother was Chinese?

He was half white and half Wong....

I know, I know, terrible, bad pun, racist, evil etc...
But I've said many times that I like playing with language, and that's what popped into my head when I read "Half right, half wrong".

    Okay, pile on the hate...
