Orwell on the Difference Between Patriotism and Nationalism
Yea...I can see the "Trumpism" part but I think it's tempered with Patriotism...I don't think his "Nationalist" tendencies are destructive nor do I think, at this point anyway, that he borders on Tribalism although the left would disagree because they think the pagan cultures (like islam) can "CoExist" whereas...I think not.

- 2Posted by mminnick 7 years, 4 months agoI think the left has an issue with anyone that believes the country deserves eith patriotism or Nationalism. They so despise the country that saying anthing that even appears to support a position of the USA as a good country are immediately categorized as "insane" or too stupid to be valued in any way. Consider the "Basket of Deplorables" comments by HRC. or BHO comments about "Clinging to God, Guns and ..." Clearly comments meant to disparable the "little people" of the country.Mark as read | Best of... | Permalink|
- 1Posted by $ Olduglycarl 7 years, 4 months agoThis is the problem with the left. It is they that have created the smudge upon the American idea and then blame all of America and its forefathers instead of the government they inhabit.Mark as read | Parent | Best of... | Permalink|
