Dems so far making few changes to playbook, leadership after crushing defeat

An example of not learning from experience. The Dems appear incapable of learning from their mistakes on the past election cycle.
They made themselves into a bi-coastal party with nothing in the middle except poor old Illinois, Minnesota and drug bussed Colorado.

This is the best news since the election itself. The Dems are trapped - either they continue marching leftward, pandering to the increasingly discredited "progressive" ideology, or they tack to the center and set the stage for another revolt by the next Bernie Sanders to come along.

With the grip that the progressives have on the party it seem almost impossible for it to move toward the center. The last Dem to pull that off wis Billy Boy, but he was a moderate in most things anyway and the party had not had 8 years of HRH Obama to push it leftward nor had Hillary pushed it even more left in her attempt to win the nomination and election.
