Thanks for the CHRISTMAS greetings and music! I get so very tired of the political correctness buffoons with their Xmas greeting so as not to offend anyone - especially Muslims.
Thanks FFA, hope you and yours have a great Christmas. There is another tradition that we have become involved in over the last several years, if any of you all have the time and are inclined, this event is happening in your area also. This is coverage from last year, we included a non traditional, but very fitting Christmas song as the background music. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n8CFc...
And I, if I were living in The Gulch, would have a nativity scene AND a Christmas tree (and maybe even a lighted cross), without concerns about someone suing me, regardless of their own beliefs.
Thank you, it has been many years since I heard the whole song. Usually all you get is the instrumental or the first verse. Best wishes to all here and Merry Christmas to all my fellow Gulchers.
You are welcome, dino! I'm in a group that entertains at care facilities and this is one of the songs I sing. I'm prepping now for a show in a couple of hours. Merry Christmas!
I used to do that at various homes for the elderly. Now I'm the elderly, but in my own home. and no one is serenading me. Boo-Hoo. But, I'm more fortunate than some my age. I still have most of my wits, though the memory often leaves town. And I have a BW who props me up when I crumble down now then. I love the holidays because most people tend to lighten up and forget all the negative stuff for a few days.
Made me think of my Mom and Dad. they loved that song and played it every Christmas. When I was a teenager (many. many years ago) I thought it was so old fashioned. Boy was I wrong. Thanks for the memory jog.+1

What was the name of his other leg?"
