Through sheer perseverance, I made it through Atlas Shrugged. Honestly, could she have made it any longer? Seriously, a 3 hour monologue by Galt?? WTF?

I'd like to see even the most ardent Randian sit through a movie that showed the whole Galt sermon unabridged.

    Philosophic speeches are generally written, not spoken. Rand used the medium of communication, a novel, to present her story the way she believed was best.

    It is long, but necessary.
    Generally the best way to retrospect is to have a long conversation with yourself.
