I'm a Democrat but Clinton staffer Jennifer Palmieri's twisted logic is exactly why we lost

This is actually the first piece I have seen since the election, where som honest, objective analysis is happening. The D's need to hire this guy for the next round, as he is the first D I have read that was lucid, logical and I think, understood why they lost. Probably why he is on Fox, the rest of them wouldn't allow such treason against "the party"....

"Divide and Conquer" has been the election strategy of the Democrats since the 1930's. A fundamental part of Marxist 'revolution'. The Democrats have always tried to push the idea that they are 'for the working man' and against the 'greedy capitalists'. The use of demographic data and the tailoring of issues and speeches to the specific audience is nothing new. BUT it didn't work this time and probably won't in the future because communications have changed. We are no longer dependent on the local newspaper or the network TV news for our information. The Internet has changed all that.

From the polls I have read, most of those that voted for Johnson were "Never Trump" people. While the hard left Democrats I know, that couldn't stand the HILDABEAST voted for Stein. Perhaps if the election did not include Johnson, Trump may have also won the popular vote! After all, the Libertarian party is closer to the Republican party, as the Green party is closer to the Democrat party.

I have never been able to understand what sexual orientation, skin color and religion had to do with political option. It is irrational. Just as blind party loyalty is irrational. When certain segments of the population go to vote, it's as if they leave their brains in neutral and march off the cliff like lemmings. None of the reasons for doing this makes any sense, especially when the stupidity of it is clearly pointed out and exposed. In such a crucial juncture, these people disregard their primary mode of survival. Is there a word for it?

All me dino a Trump voter, who was appalled by the prospect of a dangerously corrupt Madam President Evil Hag, can say is~Thank you, Gary Johnson.
As for the "That's how adults behave~" writer of the article, me dino suspects he speaks for a silent not so DimDem as other libs majority.
That's why we have scattered George Soros bankrolled childish angry snowflake protests and not yuge throngs of people marching on Washington DC out to overthrow the government.
Expect the agitators to make it really nasty on January 20, though. Wouldn't be surprised if this involves a rifle with a scope.

All I can say on this subject is that if Johnson was partially responsible for the final outcome, I am eternally in his debt!

first of all I do not believe for one minute that h got more votes especially 2.5 million more, if that were the case she would have won. do you think if she won the mood of the nation would have changed as it has, incase you haven't noticed. she lost because the nation was just tired of the lies that have come from those at the top of the d party; period! I also believe they did not want to see b in the white house. the American people are much smarter than the d party gives us credit for.

Indeed and it was very, very under reported afterwards. Everyone focused on Trump, and it is a valid point to say Trump would have lost without Johnsons effect.

The polls showed all along that Hillary fared better in a head-to-head match against Trump than when Gary Johnson was included. (Jill Stein was a factor also, but she received far fewer votes than Johnson and most of her supporters despised Hillary and would never have voted for her.)

Hillary's campaign was well aware that Gary Johnson was cutting into her vote totals. While the Republicans essentially ignored Johnson, the Dems spent millions of dollars on ads saying "Don't vote third party."

It's entirely possible that Gary Johnson's campaign has changed the course of U.S. and world history in a major way.

Democrats might also conclude Trump is president elect because Gary Johnson used reason to win enough votes from Hitlery.

    Wisconsin 10 electoral votes
Trump beat Hitlery by 27,000 votes
    Johnson got 106,500

    Michigan 16 electoral votes
Trump beat Hitlery by 11,000 votes
    Johnson got 173,000 votes

    Pennsylvania 20 electoral votes
Trump beat Hitlery by 68,000 votes
    Johnson got 143,000 votes

    Florida 29 electoral votes
Trump beat Hitlery by 120,000 votes
    Johnson got 206,000 votes

    Colorado 9 electoral votes
Trump beat Hitlery by 72,000 votes
    Johnson got 129,000 votes

OTOH, Hitlery barely won 24 electoral votes in New Hampshire, Nevada, Minnesota, and Maine by less than Johnson's vote totals there.
