This Harvard law professor felt it was important that the American people were deceived about Obama's love and support for radical Harvard professor Bell. Prior to 2008 election.
I think the Ivy League swamp needs some siphoning.

I was thankful the gorgon hag was defeated because we were teetering at the edge of the abyss.

I don't believe that even half of his supporters have any concept of his communist influences and background. There are many puppet masters
Controlling the strings : media, education, intelligence agencies, foundations, and Valerie Jarrett and co.

The end justifies the means for most dem voters.
The mainstream media never scrutinized his background, and if anyone questioned it .The racist label flew and the issue was squelched.
He has a communist family tree and was mentored and groomed to deceive.

That's what strikes me is the ethics of a law professor at an elite law school who would purposely hide the essence, and the character of a future pres. He was either ashamed or felt it was negative. The end justifies the means. Not the justice one would hope and dream for.
No wonder evidence is withheld by the elitist prosecutors to railroad the innocent.

The video was revealed a few years ago (the article you cited is from 2012), but the denials of Obama meeting with Bell are meaningless. He denied his relation with Bill Ayers, too. But it doesn't matter how many times they met in what time interval. The intellectual influences are what is important. There should be no reluctance to bring these things up again, at the very least because of all those who still don't know. There should be a much better popular understanding of the role of Obama's background and ideology in his agenda for the country which he partially imposed in his silent coup while the media intellectuals covered for him. He is not acting alone. Understanding the role of ideas in influencing the course of the nation is crucial. These aren't random events by people who just happened to do evil things.

His base didn't need any help. They were trying to hide his radical background and goals from everyone else. In some cases that got out it didn't matter anyway because few paid attention to it and the media intellectuals buried it.

Every time something like this appears on the political horizon, I wonder at the ability of most on the left to shrug it off as if it never happened. If one bothered to take the time to gather up all of this sort of information hidden in order to cleanse the reputation of a politician the case, I suspect, would be overwhelming. Again, however, it doesn't matter if you want to change the minds of those who support a given candidate. I finally got that though my thick skull. It may, however, be important to influencing those independents who make up a greater part of the population than most true believers care to admit.

I have incontrovertible evidence of the thickness of my skull after many MRIs taken from my many falls.

that is what is scary about conservatives and Trump and why Ayn feared them the most...they do not know what they are up against and how to defeat them...

they win elections but do not undo the damage the fascists from the left have done...

we continue the slide into an authoritarian state...

It is interesting that they hid the video, I don't think it was that damning. Those who did want him elected apparently did think it was and that they hid the video speaks volumes about their morals and ethics.

King Barry has always hated the United States of America.
Despite being allowed eight years to fundamentally degrade the USA, O the Great and Powerful did do a lot of damage yet he fell short.
The election of the evil hag may have completed his ruinous work, though.

Do you know how big Harvard's endowment is? Billions. You'd have to confiscate all their money or just nuke the place to take it down. Not going to happen.

Little known fact: most of the Washington, D.C. elite crowd (which included the Bush family) are Ivy Leaguers - and they hate outsiders.

Another one who called into question Obama's bon fides was Wayne Allen Root. He was a student at Colombia the same time Obama supposedly was there, but Root interviewed not only staff, but students who graduated from the same college as Obama...

And no one ever saw him.

The FBI hid the fact Obama had multiple SS cards, of which they were informed by a former acquaintance in Hawaii, before he went to Chicago.
No one has been honest about his male prostitute days, I don't know what else to call it, as reported by a black minister with a radio program. He reported the pre-Chicago Barry sold his services for cocaine money. Obama has admitted being into the cocaine cycle himself. People who wanted a black POTUS just did not care. They did not even admit he was half white, he was black enough for their liberal agenda. Facts don't matter to these poeple, they are screwy.

Obama has a tremendous hatred for progress and civilization...he is anti-life, anti-reason, anti-liberty, and anti-freedom...

he never faced any politician consistently logical who would bring the discussion into sharp focus and expose him

Given the way the elections in 2008 and 2012 were not covered by the MSM I'm not sure that revealing these videos would have made any difference. Only a few lonely voices (Sean Hannity in particular as well as Rush Limbaugh) were reporting anything amiss with HRH Obama at the time. Even now no press coverage of HRH.
For those who don't follow British acronyms HRH = His/her Royal Highness

    Again?
Yes I had not heard this story before. This is my mistake, as I was looking at breaking news last night on my ipad and this video of Obama giving his praises to Bell popped up. I was unaware this story was old. You can call me a foxie if you like. I hope it boosts your esteem. Because you are acting pretty high and mighty with your perverse socratic syllogism.

Yes, the term "critical theory" has come to include the post-modernists who deny our ability to know objective reality, sometimes to deny reality itself. (Jacques Lacan was a charlatan from the latter school, perhaps its "dean.") However, as I understand Derrick Bell's work just from Wikipedia, it seems to have been more within the traditional (funny word here) "Frankfurt School" that looked beyond the economics of Marxism to a wider sociological understanding of oppression and liberation. But they did not abandon Marxism. That is important for us here because "objective" to a traditional Marxist means about the same as "objective" means to an Objectivist.

For example, a criticism within socialism against Trotskyism is that objective conditions in America today do not support a workers' revolution. Standing on a platform exhorting factory workers to seize the means of production is just laughable. Any Marxist will agree that morally the workers should seize the factory. Objective conditions prevent that from being a real course of action. (And that is an important departure by Objectivism from other philosophies: the moral and the practical are integrated, not dichotomized.)

One of the best exposes of the bankruptcy of post-modernism was engineered by physicist Alan Sokal (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sokal_a.... Sokal prefers being called a "leftist" to being called a "Marxist." But he does firmly believe in the existence of objective reality and our ability to know it.

Again, this is an old issue, not news. "n March 2012, five months after his death, Bell became the target of conservative media, including http://Breitbart.com and Sean Hannity, in an exposé of President Barack Obama. The controversy focused on a 1990 video of Obama praising Bell at a protest by Harvard Law School students over the perceived lack of diversity in the school's faculty. Bell's widow stated that Bell and Obama had "very little contact" after Obama's law school graduation. She said that as far as she remembers, "He never had contact with the president as president".[14] An examination of Senior Lecturer Obama's syllabus for his course on race and law at the University of Chicago revealed significant differences between Obama's perspective and that of Derrick Bell, even as Obama drew on major writings of critical race theory.[15]" --
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Derrick...

What disappoints me most is the apparent lack of curiosity exhibited by the Foxies here. Something appears on TV and it just gets echoed here without a shred of new investigation. It is a perverse Socratic syllogism:
    I am a conservative.
    Fox News is conservative.
    Therefore, I echo Fox News.

Derek Bell was one of the originators of the Critical race theory which was a takeoff of the critical law theory, that was modeled after the critical theory a philosophy from Marxism. This theory questions the validity of the concepts of rationality and objective truth.
