Feds block controversial Dakota Access pipeline route

I have a hunch that the order to block the effort came from 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, not the chief of Engineers. It appears to be one ome step in the attempt to get and keep the USA as a dependent on OPEC/foreign oil and energy. It is the last step in a 4 state pipeline. It could have been stopped at any point in any of the states by a similar action. why wait? Because it cost about $4B to get this far. Stopping it sooner would have let the investors off with little loss of money. Now they are potentially out all the money. A double win for Obama.

The Corp of Engineers and the EPA are the deepest parts of the swamp and are going to be the hardest to drain. The new administration needs to go through these seemingly autonomous and untouchable agencies with a truckload of pink slips and subpoenas. The extreme enviros are the real job killers.
