Disconfirming Evidence

Objectivists tend to dislike Karl Popper. It is an easy one-liner that "science does not advance by falsification." Yet, the standard of disproof remains as a cogent challenge. See here also the "Internet Shrugged" link from khalling to the website of Dr. Roy Spencer (http://www.drroyspencer.com/). Climate models might explain the past, but (as Popper pointed out) such "explanatory power" can be claimed by astrology and Freudian psycho-analysis. Popper himself held a hard line against absolute knowlege, much to his own discredit. However, here Joe Rowlands lays an objective foundation under the importance of disconfirming evidence
