Gregg Jarrett: Did Hillary Clinton just squander her "get out of jail free" card?

I know I'm breaking my promise. Here is another Hillary Clinton Post. Sorry
Greg Jarrett posits that Hillary Clinton wasted her "Get Out of Jail Free Card" by backing the recount actions in Wisconsin, Pennsylvania and Michigan. Recounts that she cannot possibly win, especially since the law in Pennsylvania is so difficult to meet. She risks angering the only person who can keep the law at bay. This is not correct. There is another person who has the power to keep the law away. That person is the current President, Barak H. Obama. If he grants her an unconditional pardon for any/all crimes committed while she was secretary of Stand and any Crimes committed in re the Clinton Foundation. Once he has done that, no one can touch her legally for any crime she may have committed. Perhaps she has his assurance that he will do so, so she pursues the recounts.
Not saying this is the true facts but it is a reason she might be doing so.

Obama's main concern is likely about his "legacy". His decision may hinge on whether he thinks a pardon will help or damage the way he is treated by history.

I agree totally. Unfortunately, he will be known as the president who wrecked health care with an unworkable plan, spent us into oblivion, kept us in wars he promised to end, and came out viciously against our deplorable president-elect. If he pardons Hillary, he will also go down as protecting and hiding what Hillary obviously did.

If he pardons her prior to an indictment, he will be seen as concealing deeds that ought to have come to light (but will simultaneously kill her political future) and that will look bad for him.
If he does NOT pardon her, then the Trump administration will also have to ask itself which way put the least egg on its face. However, in that case Obama comes out smelling pretty good.

On a recent radio show, Michael Savage suggested the possibility that Trump's change of heart re. further investigating Clinton was actually his payment in an explicit deal with Clinton in which she conceded early and unconditionally.
According to Dr. Savage, this deal was likely made on the telephone at the same time Podesta was urging Clinton loyalists to go home. The FoxNews article seems to indicate that deal (if it was made) is now off. Your final point regarding Obama's possible game-changing input however is a good one.

It is to Trump's advantage to keep quiet until Jan 20,2017 so as not to provoke Obama to pardon her. After that, I predict new evidence will surface which will restart the investigation by his AG.

Trump said it was not a priority of -his- to hurt the Clintons. However, he did not say that he would give guidance to Sessions in this regard.

Moreover, if the Clintons are simply called to account for their crimes, would that mean that Trump had harmed them, or that they had harmed themselves?

Trump is smart to keep quiet and disarm Hildebeast and Obama. Also, his agendas and campaign promises are more important to the country than slipping Hildebeast into a jail cell right away.

Me dino is wondering how this pardon crap even started.
      It can really be abused.
Criminals like the evil hag just plain belong in jail.
Retired corrections officer me dino says a criminal needs to be prosecuted, sentenced and serve some time before you even think about letting them out early.
Having supervised convicted criminals, me dino can think of quite a few who deserved a parole or the "good time" earned by good behavior.
Others deserve to rot until their useless lives die.

She got what she deserved. Twice running for president and a dark horse knocking her out both times. I say its because her evil nature and karma got even with her. She is destroyed now and has no future. To her, THAT is hell.

Me dino sees your point quite clearly for a fact.
Recalling photos and videos of people keeping her from falling on her face, methinks the evil hag lacks the stamina to run a third time after four years of growing older down the road.
Me also thinks the world view of her candidacy no longer amounts to a sure bet for president that big money can bribe through the Clinton Foundation.

Once she has exhausted the recount process (etc), I look for Soros or Qatar or Morocco or someone else to come calling to collect on their investments the only way left open to them.

The Secret Service are good men and women, but they are not the 3rd Marines and that is the smallest force that could actually give her the protection she would need.

She has been drooling for the presidency for so long it's a wonder she doesn't drown in her own spit. The lust for power is so strong in her that even grasping at straws to her own detriment is something she attempts. I almost feel sorry for her if she wasn't such a vile beast.

    B. Hussein Obama can pardon her for all crimes committed to date... and not any future crimes :-)
Do you think the Clinton Crime Family is going to stop on that date?? I don't think so - the greed and tyrannical power-wielding is an addiction and the CCF are all addicts.

Since they are all criminals and may also need a 'get of jail free card' someday someone will pardon her so that they can count on being pardoned themselves.

From a legal standpoint, unless Obama plans to indict Hillary, his hands are tied when it comes to pardoning her. The executive pardon ability isn't an absolute blanket forgiveness, they have to be in jeopardy of having to face the consequences of being convicted. An unconditional pardon could lead to the subject being giving carte blanche to commit future crimes with no fear of consequences up to murder, then claim they are unprosecutable if they can tie said crime to what the pardon was given. If, for example, someone in the Clinton Foundation was coming forward with evidence that could indict many on its board of directors, Hillary could have them killed and have no fear of having to spend a day in jail, if these kind of pardons were permissible.

Obama would pardon Hillary Clinton just to upset Trump and the gang of deplorables and irredemables. But, if he pardons her AND investigations show more and more irregularities that she engaged in, HIS legacy will be infected that he pardoned an obviously BAD person. All that is important to him now IS his legacy.

Because he is looking to step out of the Oval Office into some fat paychecks. If he leaves "dirty", there may be less in his pay envelope than he is hoping. And don't forget that he probably wants to continue to influence the DNC and be a thorn in Trumps side.
It would be useful if he, Bill, Hillary and Chelsea all slipped on the same banana peel.

You can only pardon someone who has been found guilty. If she has not been found guilty she cannot be pardoned.

Unfortunately, Dobrien is correct here. Nixon was pardoned without having been found guilty of anything.

However, if Obamanoid were to pardon Hillary of anything, it would be an absolute admission that she (and all that connects with) was indeed guilty, just as everybody knew Nixon was guilty. After all, why did he resign the presidency?
