    My mother's advice was to start with the smartest girl in the class and work my way down until someone went out with me; and not to fall for any girl who asked me out. Digging through old photos, I was surprised at how pretty my high school Dagny really was, but that was not the primary attraction. She could play Rachmaninoff.
